Instigated as part of the ABCD Cultural Recovery Programme to protect Brighton & Hove’s cultural spaces for future generations, where possible in community ownership. This group is currently reviewing options for creative space in the City, exploring new models and maximising the existing capital and organisational infrastructure.

This group first came together in January 2023 to devise and deliver a grant programme that invited creative responses to the legacies of the transatlantic slave trade. ARCC aims to support Brighton & Hove’s cultural sector to lead on anti-racist practices in the city.
